Me and my crush may go see Hangover II. Idk if I can get into it since its Rated R. But im 17?

Well im 17 and hes 18.. We may go see Hangover 2. Im 17, Can I get into a Rated R movie?? I dont have an ID with my birthday on it but I could bring my birth certificate and a school ID I guess. Am I old enough? And will they ask for my ID? Thanks :)
