Is my stretcher healing properly? if not how can i make sure it does?

I stretched my ear recently and I'm currently at 8 mm. My ear doesn't hurt at all but the inside of the hole is slightly pink and a little bit shiny. It used to secrete like a thin liquid but I read that I should dilute my antiseptic and stuff which has stopped that happening but it still produces a bit of yellow gunk but only slightly. Is this normal? Thanks
